September 22nd is Bullying Awareness Day (Harassment, Bullying, Hazing)

Please note a new state law, section 118.02(9t) has created a new day of observance: September 22 and hereafter, Wednesday of the fourth week in September each year is to be observed as Bullying Awareness Day.

bullyinglogoThe Mukwonago Area School district is committed to supporting an educational environment free of bullying.
School Board policies GBAC and GBAD prohibit students, employees and volunteers from engaging in any form of bullying or intimidation, hazing, or harassment towards other students, employees, or volunteers. Policy GBAD and Policy GBAC direct students, staff, and volunteers to report such incidents to the school administration.

Everyone needs to take responsibility to show others respect and consideration. Preventing bullying includes but is not limited to the public schools.
